Manrico A. Troncelliti, Jr. is a shareholder, director and vice president of Troncelliti Law Associates, a Montgomery County-based law firm, which has served Montgomery County, the Philadelphia metropolitan area and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for over 50 years. The firm is a full service practice, serving client needs in business, corporate, franchising real estate, domestic, insurance defense, personal injury, tax, long-term planning matters and municipal finance. Rick concentrates his practice in the fields of municipal finance, tax and estate planning laws in Montgomery County, estate administration, small business counseling and mergers and acquisitions. Rick has practiced for over 20 years in these areas and has practiced for his entire career in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. During this time, he has lectured extensively in the areas of tax planning, estate planning and municipal finance.
Rick spent three terms as a township commissioner in West Norriton Township. He was president of the Board of Commissioners there for six years. West Norriton is a township of the first class, immediately adjacent to both Norristown and the King of Prussia-Valley Forge area. Since 1985, Rick has also served on the board of directors and as a club solicitor to Plymouth Country Club. As such, he has become an expert in the law of private clubs and golf course liability. In the area of municipal finance, Rick specializes in the area of taking municipalities or small borrowers through the process of obtaining taxes and financing from inception to conclusion, fully integrating the various federal, state and local statutes that govern this process. The result of a successful tax-exempt financing is significantly lower interest charges to the borrower. Rick served as solicitor to the Montgomery County Higher Education and Health Authority for over ten years and has significant background in the area of health care and higher education financing as well.
Rick's practice is completely involved with service to the community. In addition to his governmental responsibilities, he is a past president of the Brown University Club of Philadelphia, is a member of the board of directors of the Americans of Italian Heritage Council, a board member of the Schuylkill Valley branch of the Southeaster Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Red Cross, and is a former official of the Norristown Chapter of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association Basketball Officials.
